FAQs
Sneaky Wholefoods is a wholly Australian owned snack company. Our products are hand made and hand packaged fresh in small batches weekly in our own commercial space in Morley, Perth, WA
Hand making our snacks gives us control. Control over how our products are made and when. Our snacks are made fresh, in small batches, which allows us to monitor the quality of snacks produced on a day to day basis. Our products aren't sitting on our shelves for 6+ months to a year before they are dispatched for sale purposes. Our products are put into our customers hands in their freshest form possible. Plus you wont find the same snack anywhere else. Ever noticed how so many brands look and taste the same? Each product in our range has been created with meaning and purpose. To us, that is what makes Sneaky Wholefoods unique.
We use dried fruits (dates, blueberries, apple, cranberries, raspberries just to name a few) all of which contain natural occurring sugars. We also use coconut nectar, a natural low GI sweetener obtained from the nectar of the coconut palm blossom.
Most of our snacks feature dates as a key ingredient! However, our Blueberry White Chocolate Crumble Protein Bar is an exception! This one contains blueberries and cranberries as its dried fruit source, offering an option for those who prefer a date-free snack.
We choose dates as our primary sweetener because they’re naturally delicious and packed with nutritional benefits. Providing you with sustained energy that keep you satisfied longer than artificial sweeteners.
Yes, you can snack worry free with all our snacks. Handmade in our 100% gluten free commercial space. Both Daisy and Steph were diagnosed as Coeliac in 2023 which reinforced their commitment to maintaining Sneaky Wholefoods as a 100% Gluten-Free Snack Business.
All of our snacks are made with natural ingredients and are generally considered safe for most people, including those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. However, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare practitioner before introducing any new snacks into your diet during pregnancy or breastfeeding, just to ensure it’s the best choice for you and your baby.
All products are prepared in the same facility so allergy prone ingredients may still be present. It is the consumer’s responsibility to refer to the nutritional information and ingredients of each product before purchase/ consumption.
We take care in hand making all our products. Whilst all care has been taken, due to the nature of producing products made from all natural products, especially products with nuts and dates: date pits/date pit fragments and/or nutshell may remain. Please chew our products with care.
Unfortunately,
our products cannot be deemed ‘FODMAP-friendly’. This is because we use cashews in our products, which are advised against consuming for the low FODMAP diet, especially in the first phase of the diet.
However, not all FODMAPs will be symptom triggers for all patients. We suggest working with a dietitian on the second phase of the FODMAP diet to determine your own thresholds for cashew consumption e.g., to work out the amount that can be tolerated before experiencing symptoms.
While many people believe dates are also high FODMAP, they’re actually low FODMAP in the small serving you get from each of our products! A serving of 30 grams or 5 dates is low FODMAP - well below
what is contained in each of our Protein Bars, Nourish Bites and Protein Ball serving sizes.
